ABOUT
The Himalayan
Drive 2022.
Following the very successful First Edition of The Nazir Hoosein Memorial Drive 2021, Team Firefox announces the 2nd Edition of The Himalayan Drive 2022 which celebrates the 40th anniversary of the 1982 Himalayan Rally and its Winner Jayant Shah of Kenya.

In 1980, Late Nazir Hoosein introduced the Himalayan Rally which was the First International Motorsports event in the country. The eleven editions of The Himalayan Rally put India on the International Motorsports map. Its founder and driving force Nazir Hoosein passed away in 2019.

In November 2021, to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the 1981 Himalayan Rally, Team Firefox had organized the Nazir Hoosein Memorial Drive in his memory.
The Drive had a field of 92 Cars and traced the '81 Route starting from Delhi, Lansdowne, Mussoorie, and Kufri, ending in Manali.
It was a wonderful gathering of ex-Himalayan Rally participants and Motorsports enthusiasts who got together to pay tribute to its founder Nazir Hoosein.

By popular demand, riding on the success of NHMD2021 Team Firefox have come out with this year’s edition - The Himalayan Drive 2022 which celebrates the 1982 Rally on its 40th Anniversary and its Winner Late Jayant Shah of Kenya.
